Micro Sword

Micro Sword, technically Lilaeopsis, is the grass-blade carpet plant that gives your tank that mowed-lawn look without needing an actual lawnmower. It spreads through runners that creep along the substrate, sending up thin blade-like leaves that stay short and dense under high light with CO2, or grow longer and looser if you're running things low tech. Great for foreground carpeting in front of hardscape or driftwood, and it holds up well against grazing from bristlenose plecos and shrimp colonies without getting uprooted. Patience pays off here, it's a slow starter but fills in thick once established.
